Abstract

The Rumah Singgah CLOW (Cat Lover in the World) is a stopover for abandoned cats. Not infrequently street cats often get unfavorable treatment. The Rumah Singgah CLOW pays special attention to these cats. Not only that, the Rumah Singgah CLOW provides appropriate places and services for abandoned animals to be adopted by new owners. The types of animals adopted by the Rumah Singgah CLOW are dogs and cats. Currently, the Rumah Singgah CLOW has accommodated hundreds of cats and several dogs in each shelter. So, as the best service for animal lovers to be able to access this information, a prototype system was designed for the Rumah Singgah CLOW as a service to users of the animal adoption system. The User Centered Design (UCD) method in the the Rumah Singgah CLOW application was applied to this study. With the UCD method, the application is made easier by a system that loads pages according to user needs and has a unique and attractive appearance. The test results are based on user needs analysis which will produce a solution design and get an assessment from each respondent which will be calculated according to the formula through the solution design evaluation stage.
