Pelatihan dan Pendampingan Pemberian Calf Milk Replacer (CMR) di Peternak Sapi Potong di Malang

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to find out the effectiveness of training and assistance in feeding Calf Milk Replacer (CMR) to breeders in Malang. The method used in this service is the training and mentoring method. 15 beef cattle breeders by purposive sampling to be trained and assisted in using Calf Milk Replacer (CMR) feed. The data collected includes the knowledge and skills of farmers in understanding and using Calf Milk Replacer (CMR) feed for their livestock. The data were analyzed for effectiveness before training and after training and tested for differences in the T test. The results of this service show that beef cattle breeders' understanding of the Calf Milk Replacer (CMR) feed given to their livestock has increased by 80% as well as the skills of breeders in providing Calf Milk Replacer (CMR) feed has also increased by 80%. The conclusion is that the service activities that have been carried out related to giving understanding and skills in feeding Calf Milk Replacer (CMR) to beef cattle breeders in Malang are very effective
