Abstract

TaThN3 can be prepared from a reaction of Ta2Th2O9 and Ca3N2 at 1100-1500°C or from a reaction of Ta3N5 and Th3N4 at 1400°C. This black polycrystalline material crystallizes in the perovskite structure type with a = 4.020(6) Å. © 1995 Academic Press. All rights reserved.
