Abstract

Bringing together a number of key economists, this collection of essays on Verdoorn's Law, includes comprehensive surveys and assessments of the vast literature that has now developed. An English translation of Verdoorn's seminal article is also included. New empirical evidence is presented for the Verdoorn Law using both regression and non-parametric frontier analysis.
