Abstract

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Systems have been deployed in a variety of fields. With widespread application, RFID systems raise a plenty of security and privacy issues, among which the authorized communication between reader and tags is concerned by researchers primarily. In order to adapt the resource constraint, lightweight mutual authentication protocols are designed to secure the tag/reader authentication. In this paper, we propose an improving RFID authentication protocol based on LMAP++ protocol. The proposed protocol guarantees the tag anonymity, untraceability and synchronization. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2014.
