Abstract

Tracey Emin is one of the best- known current British artists. Her art is essentially autobiographical. The major aim of the present essay is to analyze Emin’s artist work and to study her artistic references. To fulfill this goal, biographic references, linked to her artistic work, are mentioned and her topics, obsessions, procedures, and techniques are reviewed, with a special mention to the central role of words in her art.
