Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the factors affecting job satisfaction and job stress on the productivity of the Egyptian employees. The study aims to identify them in the Egyptian environment, and to highlight the main factors influencing the Egyptian employee.Data were collected through a questionnaire survey from 244 Egyptian employees from different age groups and different sectors. Hypotheses were tested and analyzed by means of a multiple regressions, and mean analysis.This study extends current research by investigating the relationships of job satisfaction and job stress on productivity in the Egyptian environment. This clarifies how Egyptian employees become productive in the workplace. Findings of this study were interesting and give a guide to managerial policy makers.
