Abstract

The measurement and visualization of different energy sources brings several challenges with it. A comparison of load profiles of a German energy supplier and a measurement experiment in a pallet strapping company showed significant deviations. The case study in this paper reveals the reasons for these deviations. This paper introduces the approach and research work for finding appropriate data visualization models for use in an energy management system. The task was to find appropriate models for every management level within a company.
