Abstract

With the surging energy cost and environmental impacts, strategies to achieve energy-efficient production have attracted increasing concerns of the manufacturing enterprises. In the flexible job shop scheduling process, machine tools' breakdown and maintenance will lead to conflicts of machining resource, increase of energy consumption and delay of completion time. In order to reduce the machining interruption caused by machine tool breakdown in the actual flexible job shop machining process, an energy-saving optimization method for flexible job shop scheduling considering equipment preventive maintenance is proposed. Firstly, the energy consumption characteristics of flexible job shop are analyzed, then the energy-saving optimization model of flexible job shop scheduling considering equipment preventive maintenance is established, and the energy-saving optimization solution method based on which a rescheduling algorithm is proposed in the form of a heuristic framework. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by case comparison analysis.
