Self-organization of network structure in coupled-map systems

Abstract

Coupled map models with variable connection weights between the units are studied. A generally observed feature in this type of model is the appearance of the units with massive outgoing connections. Such structure formation is the consequence of the feedback between unit and connection dynamics. © 2009 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
