The dynamic sandpile formation process and the angle of repose of granular particles with different grain size distribution are studied by numerically simulation. The modified Discrete Element Method (DEM) has been employed in current simulation. Four kinds of pad materials were placed on ground to vary the friction coefficient between particle and ground and the effects were analyzed in detail in simulation.
