Abstract

Cultural flows between the United States and East Asia have grown exponentially in recent decades. The most visible evidence is seen in popular culture—food, fashion, and entertainment. Tourism, sports, business, immigration, and the adoption of Asian children by American families also contribute to the vast and complex enterprise that we call international cultural exchange.
