Positive experiences with nature during childhood are a strong predictor of the Connection with Nature (CWN) throughout life, which has a strong explanatory factor of integral well-being and pro-environmental behavior. The aim of this study was to verify the level of CWN of adults and the frequency with which they promote contact with nature to the children under their care. The research protocol included two CWN scales, questions about contact with nature and sociodemographic data. The study included 58 fathers/mothers and 150 primary education teachers from public schools in Manaus-AM. The results showed that the training area, age and frequency of contact with green areas of these adults are significant to differentiate their CN levels. The training area is also an important factor in determining how often parents and teachers bring children to green areas.
