This chapter presents qualitative findings from the selected cases of 11 Turkish multinationals about the driving forces behind their foreign expansion and discusses these findings in the light of theoretical perspectives such as resource-, industry-, and institution-based views. The chapter also categorizes the motives of the case study firms for internationalization and reveals their rationale regarding their choices of ownership, entry mode, and investment location.
