Abstract

Today, technologies that are expected to open up a new world for the disabled people are emerging thanks to the science and technology advancement. During the last 10 years, rehabilitation engineering technology grew very fast while adopting cutting edge technologies of diverse fields. Emergence of robots as visual aids for the disabled people’s activities these days is very innovative, and Serious game can be cited as a content that encourages the disabled people to engage in physical activities and that helps to acquire motion technology by grafting the IT technology. The active use of the serious game and robot, which is a converged content for the disabled people offers many positive effects that increase physical and mental health through increased amount of physical activity.
