Abstract

The news coverage of any country’s media directly reflects the mind-set and interest of that particular country’s citizens. Data mining is a very famous and old tool, which is used to understand the trend and major component of any raw data. In the present study, the effect of India and Indian politician is analyzed in the New York Times, a leading newspaper of the USA (United States of America). This analysis is trying to provide a comparative effect on India on the global level during the different government tenures (UPA-I, UPA-II, and NDA). To be fair with the analysis, only first two years of each government are considered during this study. Along with that, this study also provides a comparative effect on Indian politicians on the international level (especially in the USA).
