Abstract

As one of the new human-computer interaction devices in advanced cockpit, the design and application of HWDs (Head-Worn Display System) must ensure that pilots can complete flight tasks comfortably, efficiently and safely with acceptable workload. However, to our knowledge, the thorough evaluation methods of HWDs have not been found. Therefore, an integrated ergonomics evaluation method of HWDs was established in this paper. Firstly, the main factors affecting ergonomics in HWDs had been analyzed to establish a preliminary index system by combining the working principle of the system with the related criterions in GJB. And then a final integrated ergonomics evaluation index system of HWDs was established based on modified Delphi method. Gl method was used to determine the weight vector of each index, which provides a good foundation for further evaluation of the HWDs’ design.
