Abstract

Traditionally, the automobile should be maintained in the 4S shop regularly. It is boring and inefficient. In this paper, an OSGi based architecture for vehicle diagnostic system was proposed. The system architecture, modules and data flows are introduced. This is a real-time diagnostic system, which is very convenient for diagnosing anywhere at any time. What's more, the OSGi architecture ensures that the system is compatible for different vehicle models and it is scalable for further features. © 2012 Springer-Verlag GmbH.
