In recent years, return migration from the United States has become a relevant issue in academic discussions across diverse disciplinary fields. One key aspect handled by the ensuing academic literature is labor reinsertion of returning migrants. This article reflects on current discussions of labor reinsertion by drawing a comparison between three groups of migrants from Yucatan, with the aim of offering an analytic approach to the conditions of return migration. The results shows that migrants suffer from precarious labour conditions in their work places.
