Abstract

This chapter provides an overview of Supplier Management and its constituent parts. Readers shall learn of its importance and how its methods and tools can be applied. By using them, Purchasers succeed in changing their role from reactive, operative purchasers to acting strategists. The procedures shall be described and their benefits shall be demonstrated in order to encourage Purchasers to make use of this proven, efficient method.
