Abstract

Currently there has been a noticeable concern raise in biodegradable materials for use in packaging, agriculture, medicine, and other areas. Polymers form the backbones of plastic materials, and are continually being working in an escalating range of areas. Many researchers are now investing their time into designing novel polymer composites out of obviously occurring resources for modifying customary materials to make them more user-friendly. Biodegradable polymer materials are formed by integration of biological materials, which is most familiar being starch and fiber extracted from different types of plants. The need of synthetic polymer creation will reduce by the certainty of biodegradable polymer materials. This paper is intended to provide a brief outline of work that is under way in the area of biodegradable polymer research and composites, the scientific theory behind these materials, areas in which this research is being applied, and future work that waits.
