Abstract

The initial consultation is important to establish rapport with the patient and to examine the breasts and take measurements. The TTM chart includes the breast and body parameters needed for an objective aesthetic evaluation of the breast and is filled out for breast augmentation cases. The TTM Chart Type I is used for all cases except those for with breast ptosis for which the TTM Chart Type II is used. The author discusses the preoperative examination and patient assessment.
