Abstract

Plants are an important element in landscape design. They have played various roles in the holistic landscape. Numerous landscape construction projects focus solely on plants’ role in the ecological and environmental improvement, thus blindly pursuing the afforestation quantity rather than another key role of space formation in terms of plant arrangement. Through the design of space construction for plant landscape during the renovation of Ait park in Fuzhou City, this paper has studied how to construct the plant space without changing the original ecological environment in the park, thus to achieve the optimal visual experience for tourists.
