Abstract

Digital watermarking technique can be the basis of many applications, including media asset management and security. How to improve the practicality of the watermarking scheme in different applications is an urgent problem. In this paper, we proposed a new watermarking scheme for images based on Human Visual System and Singular Value Decomposition in the wavelet domain. The secret information that can be seen as a watermarking is hidden into a host image, which can be publicly accessed, so the transportation of the secret information will not attract the attention of illegal receiver. The experimental results show that the method is invisible and robust against some image processing. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.
