Abstract

Area includes New York south to Virginia. Describes broad-based networks and focused networks. Items traded in the Late Archaic include: jasper, argillite, rhyolite, ironstone, soapstone, midwestern lithics, obsidian, marine shell, and copper. Apparently was broad-based exhange.
