Abstract

A medium incorporating lysine as described by Walters & Thiselton favours the growth of those wild yeasts which may form contaminants in brewery pitching yeast; such a medium, modified by the addition of agar, provides a convenient means for quantitative estimation of the degree of infection. 1957 The Institute of Brewing & Distilling
