Abstract

Continuous improvement is one of the principles of quality management in business. It is a strong and essential act of management that aims to optimize the overall performance of the company to bring about lasting and permanent positive change. Thus, and to be responsive, a company that encounters a dysfunction must efficiently find a solution. Any company engaged in a process of continuous improvement must use improvement and communication tools among these tools we can cite the Ishikawa diagram, it is an excellent communication tool the latter facilitates obtaining an inventory of real causes that explain a situation that is often hidden behind more apparent causes. Various defects can occur during the processes, although post-processing techniques are not suitable to mitigate or eliminate them. Understanding the defects and their causes represents the first step in designing process monitoring and control tools, once the defects are reviewed and their main causes are identified, this allows the company to prioritize the efforts to resolve the problems and engage in a process of continuous improvement by implementing an action plan that meets the company's expectations or even engages in a continuous improvement process. Thus with very simple tools, the company will be able to experience a sustainable dynamic.
