Abstract

Photogrammetry is the technique used to convert a real geometry of a part into a 3D computer file starting from images. The paper aims to compare some free and commercial application packages used in Photogrammetry, based on the same images taken from an axial turbine blade. The blade geometry can be included in a bounding box with the following dimensions: 233 x 125 x 82 mm. The geometrical entities generated with these applications will be compared through Cloud Compare software.
