Abstract

An image encryption scheme based on high-dimensional dynamical multiple chaotic maps are proposed in this paper. In order to produce fast encryption and more avalanche effect, the circular shift algorithm is utilized to permute the positions of the image pixels in the spatial domain. The experimental results show that it is more efficient than traditional encryption schemes and it provides an secure way for image encryption. © 2011 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
