Clutches play a vital role in the entire automotive transmission system and is also one of the key components. The performance of the clutch will directly affect the braking performance, the cost of use and the service life of the car. The basic parameters of the clutch are critical to the performance, and changes in basic parameters directly affect the structural performance and performance. n today’s big data era, many factors should be taken into account when calculating the basic parameters of the clutch. In this paper, a commercial vehicle is taken as an example. In the case of known raw data, the size of the best basic parameters is obtained by a classical algorithm. After verification, the size is qualified and meets the requirements. The check result indicates that this parameter determination method is desirable.
