Abstract

Three taxa of Myrtaceae leaf macrofossils, including Eucalyptus sp. and Metrosideros sp., are described from Miocene Manuherikia Group sediments of Central Otago, New Zealand. A number of undetermined myrtacean leaves are also illustrated. Two types of Myrtaceae fruiting bodies are described. One of these is identified as Eucalyptus sp. © 1993 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
