Solo agrícola e agricultura em espaço urbano: dinâmicas. O exemplo de Évora

Abstract

The aim of the article is to improve the understanding of agriculture in urban areas for societies and to outline strategies to promote agricultural soils patrimony and the maintenance and sustainability of agricultural use in urban space. The methodology followed includes the analysis of the urban dynamics, related with the presence of agriculture in the urban area of Évora, in a perspective that includes its significance in historical, social, economic, ecological and aesthetic domains.
