Family Rhytididae Pilsbry, 1893 is divided intD Rhytidinae Pilsbry, 1893 fDr the genera Rhytida Albers, 1860, Powelliphanta O'ConnDr, 1945 (here raised from subgeneric status in Paryphanta Albers), Delos HuttDn, 1904 and Delouagapia Powell, 1952 (here raised from subgeneric status in Delos); and Paryphantinae Godwin-Austen, 1893 for the genera Paryphanta Albers,. 1850, Rhytidarex Powell, 1948 (here raised fromsubgeneric status in Rhytida Albers, 1860) and Schizoglossa Hedley, 1902. (Amborhytida) Climo, 1974, previously treated as a subgenus Df Rhytida, becomes a subgenus of Rhytidarex and Wainuia Powell, 1930, previously treated as a full genus, becomes a subgenus DfRhytida. © 1977 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
