A revision of the genus Praebebalia Rathbun, 1911 (Brachyura, Leucosioidea)

Abstract

The leucosioid genus Praebebalia Rathbun, 1911, is revised. Of the 12 species assigned to Praebebalia, only P. extensiva Rathbun, 1911, and P. septemspinosa Sakai, 1983, are retained in the genus, and two new species are added: P. madagascariensis and P. magna. The four species are described and illustrated, and a key is presented.
