Abstract

In order to select the PID controller parameters, particle swarm optimization (PSO) is used to optimize the PID controller parameters. To evaluate the ride comfort of the vehicle, the objective function is established which integrates the vertical acceleration, suspension dynamic travel and tire dynamic load, and the controller parameters are optimized by particle swarm optimization. Simulate it in the software MATLAB. The result shows that the function of PID controller after particle swarm optimization is better than that before optimization.
