Transformación digital en procesos productivos

Abstract

Industrial revolutions have transformed the productive, economic and culturalrelationships of societies; pushing organizations towards structural changes in boththe form of production and the interrelationship of processes. From this approach thechapter seeks to analyze the most relevant characteristics of digital transformation inthe production processes developed by the manufacturing SMEs of the city of Bogotáin evaluation of 748 companies. The fulfillment of this objective is based on research:Use of ICT in manufacturing companies in Bogota D.C. developed by the InternationalFinance and Business program for 2019 and the Technology Development and InnovationSurvey 2017 – 2018 conducted by the National Administrative Department of Statistics –DANE. Three specific objectives are considered within the investigation process; the firstof these identifying the variables associated with the dimension of digital transformationin processes, analyzing the dimension and evaluating the variables that impact digitaltransformation. Which are achieved by applying a mixed approach. The fulfillment of theseobjectives will first address the identification of the theoretical components around digitaltransformation in processes. Identified the variables of the Survey of Development andTechnological Innovation relevant in research, we proceed to recognize the relationshipbetween pairs using the non-parametric statistical method chi squared. The results allow toevaluate the trend in implementation processes in development and innovation oriented todigital transformation in processes, fulfilling the proposed objective
