Abstract

A well marked destructive arthropathy was seen in 5 patients with chondrocalcinosis articularis. The joints involved included the metacarpophalangeal, wrists, shoulders, hips, and knees. There was no evidence of rheumatoid arthritis, hyperparathyroidism, hemochromatosis or neurologic abnormality in any of the patients.
