Abstract

Population growth in Indonesia has several impacts, especially the need for housing and infrastructure as well as declining environmental quality. The above problems can be overcome by building shelters and infrastructure. Neverthless, this development is also hampered by the Government's budget and the environmental impacts caused by the construction period to maintenance. Projects with the public-private partnership scheme are considered capable of answering these problems from a capital cost perspective. Furthermore, problems related to environmental impacts can be overcome by implementing Sustainable Development in the project. This study aims to find the effect of the relationship between latent variables on the success of a sustainable public-private partnership project on public roads. Since the PLS-SEM method is consistent with the study's goal of analyzing the relationship between variables, it is deemed appropriate to employ in this investigation. The findings of this study revealed that the direct variables influencing the success of PPP Projects are Economic Feasibility and Consistent Government Policy. Meanwhile, the variables of Procurement Transparency, Community Support for Projects and Reduction of Negative Impacts on the Environment have no direct relationship.
