Abstract

As a prospective teacher in elementary school, there are other skills that must be possessed and mastered, namely reflecting on the learning that has been carried out. The teacher himself must examine how he teaches, find problems that he may face during the learning process, and find solutions to any problems he faces. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the reflection on the implementation of learning carried out by researchers in the practice of teaching English subjects in elementary schools as part of the process of implementing English learning courses in elementary schools. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The result of the research that has been done is that the researcher only describes in detail the reflection report after the action is taken, and has not explained in detail the reflection before the action is taken. Even so, reflection on planning before learning must be done so that during class learning can develop teaching skills. The existence of direct teaching practices in the field (schools) as part of a project of PGSD studies at a university can be a provision for students as prospective teachers to build competence and qualifications as professional educators.
