Abstract

Morphological characteristics given below are based mainly on recent representatives, i. e. on Euplectop- tera only (see Chapter III); for many derived characters it is unclear if they are autapomorphies of Euplectoptera, or that of Euephemeroptera, or that of Panephemeroptera.
