Abstract

This study forecasts GDP growth rate and inflation in Vietnam before and after the COVID-19 pandemic has spread using artificial neural network in order to assess its influences on the economics for each year in the period 2019–2030. The result shows that the COVID-19 pandemic just reduces GDP growth over 2020 and 2021, and increases to more than 7% in the following years. It also raises the inflation increase, but less than 4%.
