Abstract

Having recourse to the notion of regulation stems from changes in the means of orientation, co-ordination and monitoring of educational systems, which in turn implies different approaches in the outlook of researchers concerning state intervention. The different contributions to this edition show two symmetrical developments. To do so, the dossiers present current thinking on the new regulations of state intervention in education, based on the adjustments taking place concerning supply and demand and on external and internal assessment of results.
