Abstract

The construction of the National Innovation System is of great significance to the enhancement of a nation's comprehensive competitiveness. The value of the National Innovation System should be manifested through various channels with the application of certain competitive elements. Industrial Design can provide competitive advantages to both enterprises and the national economy. It is the nation's core creativity in the sense of material culture and one of the key elements of the competitive strength. Design innovation program from the national level is in accordance to the National Innovation System, so it is an integral part and a sub-system of the National Innovation system. The efficacy of the Industrial Design Innovation System originates from the initiatives of enterprises and the full play of all system platforms. ©2009 IEEE.
