STUDI DESKRIPTIF TENTANG ALIH STATUS INSTITUT AGAMA ISLAM NEGERI (IAIN) MENJADI UNIVERSITAS ISLAM NEGERI (UIN) IMAM BONJOL PADANG

Abstract

The research was from the existence of IAIN Imam Bonjol Padang which want to change to the status as UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. The research used quantitative research approach. The data collecting procedure was by questionaire and interview. The result of research found that there were correlation between strength-weakness and oppurtunity-threath. In this case, the oppurtunity should be wider to be wisdom which supported the status changing. The weakness should be prevented wisely in order to stop the conflicts. The oppurtunity should be increased through intrasectoral relationship with the religion ministry, extrasectoral relationship with local government or anothe private institution. Otherwise the challange which faced on the institution should be changed to motivate the institution to be better for the futur.
