Abstract

Cardiovascular pathologies are the most common causes of death in developed countries, with ischemic heart disease related to atherosclerotic coronary artery disease being the principal cause of sudden cardiac death in those over age 35 years. Coronary arteries can be investigated using different techniques of postmortem computed tomography (CT) angiography, such as whole body angiography methods with various perfusion devices or targeted coronary angiography methods.
