Abstract

ECO-IMAGINE is a group of eight conferences and training courses on ICMand GI/GIS. Four Working Groups has been created to address the mainfeatures in the field of ICM and GI: ``Building Coastal Knowledge{''},``Coastal Governance, Planning and Design{''}, ``The WaterfrontManagement{''}, ``Geo-spatial Technologies{''}. ECO-IMAGINE has twogeneral conferences to introduce and summarise objectives and WorkingGroups, three thematic conferences and three Training Courses. Aneffective network building and generation of added value is ensured bythe web-site that implements a Virtual Permanent Conference asdiscussion forum and reference thematic repository.
