Abstract

Studies of Australian Corethrella Coquillet, using standard morphological methods supported by numerical techniques (ordinations based on Principal Component Analysis), reveal the presence here of two species that are described as new, as well as three other distinct geographic “forms” that are quite possibly also distinct species. the Principal Component Analysis employed a novel method for coding data.
