Perbedaan Pemilihan Alat Kontrasepsi Pasca Persalinan Sebelum dan Sesudah Diberikan Konseling

Abstract

The Prevalence of stunting in Indonesia is quite high, this has an impact on the naton’s next generation of quality. The goverment program refocusing in order to overcome stunting problems, including through the post natal family planning program. Postpartum family planning plas a role in preventing and overcoming stunting. Post delivery family planning can prevent stunting by setting pregnancy spacing so that the reproductive system is ready to get pregnant, and can overcome stunting because childbirth family planning gives mothers enough time to give breastfeeding and full attention to the growth and development of their babies. Mother’s understanding in the selection of postnatal family planning is very necessary to decide on the right family planning. The research method isQuasi Experimental with One Group Pre-test Post-tes One Design approach. The sample in this study were mother after delivery in the taking hold phase. The sampling method used a minimum sample for quasi experimental, namely 20 respondents, who met the research instrument used cheklist form. Bivariate test was performed with paired T test. The result of analysis obtained p value= 0,256 >= 0,05 (p value is grater than = 0,05). This means that there is not significant difference in the plan forchoosing a contraceptive method before and after being given counseling. The succes of postnatal counceling is influenced by various faktors.Counseling for mothers to decide on postnatal family planning is very important and requires the ability of the midwife a counseler.
