Abstract

We previously proposed a complex-version of the Nagumo-Sato model of a single neuron and studied its behavior. Here we investigate the behavior of the network consisting of two such neurons. This is a preliminary report focusing on the fixed points of the dynamics of symmetric circuits, meaning that the two neurons have the same parameter values, and on some experimental results showing interesting orbits. When the network is asymmetric, the analysis becomes quite difficult due to the large number of parameters. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2003.
