The consumer sports electronic (CSE) market has been growing at an unprecedented rate, largely due to the advances made in microelectronics, communication technologies, high-level software, optoelectrics, micro-optics, bioengineering, and new materials. This paper proposes a structured process to enter this business sector for innovative, high-technology companies. © 2006 Springer-Verlag New York.
